Summary

Join a professional local guide for a free art walk through one of New Zealand’s most creative suburbs.

The walk will begin on the front steps of Auckland Museum at 1pm, heading through Auckland Domain and down Parnell Road discovering more Whale Tales and interesting stories along the way.

The walking pace will be leisurely, with frequent stops and a break for coffee at a local café. The walk will end at Fraser Park to admire the final Whale Tale at around 4pm.

As an extra special treat, we’ve arranged for Whale Tales artist Wei Lun Ha to meet the group and do a demonstration of his art practice.

Situated outside King Living, Wei Lun’s Tail ‘A Fragile Tale to Tell’ is inspired by the Japanese art of kintsugi.

The walk is FREE, but spaces are limited—don’t forget to register for either Sunday 6 March.
