Mulberry Grove School

We are truly excited to be involved in this unique opportunity adding Aotea, Great Barrier Island into the mix. This is such a creative way to be part of a project bigger than ourselves. The endangered Bryde’s Whale are often seen in the waters surrounding our motu so having this opportunity for our students to learn specifically about their habits and uniqueness is a gift. Being located on the shore in Tryphena Harbour, Mulberry Grove School students have a vested interest in protecting our Moana and the Taonga that frequent our harbours and waters of the Hauraki Gulf. This will be a unique experience for islanders and visitors alike to be part of the trail of Whale Tales and for the students to share stories and information with our community so creatively. We are so grateful to have secured an amazing sponsor to make our involvement possible
