Royal Oak Primary School
Children at ROPS get very involved with a range of environmental projects both in our school and in the local community. They are very keen to do what they can to help save our Earth and really enjoy finding out more ways to teach others ways to support our environment and to help our planet. The pupils are very excited to have the opportunity to design and paint a model of a whale’s tail as part of the Auckland Whale Tales experience, where they can express their understanding and concern for our seas through their art. Groups of children will be discussing ideas and planning out their designs before the final one will be chosen and painted. We have many creative children at our school and they have lots of energy and enthusiasm for this wonderful project.
